In these last weeks we will be addressing other types of text. This week, instructions  

We are starting off with a bit of calm, reviewing the sound of  OO  as in  BOOK. The words for this week are GOOD SOON FOOD BROOM SPOON BALLOON ROOT

Completely optional, I will be doing it in my family and wanted to share it, it could be a nice moment for them to reflect on independence and accomplishment and also write a little. Neither doing it nor sending it is required but if you do that is great.

Here is the video for this week, about use of dialogue They have to write a short piece of dialogue. I provide a pdf with some possible prompts but they don´t have to use them, they can write any dialogue they want.

This is a webpage I haven´t visited in a while, but many of my students loved it in the past. It lets you create your own comic strips with a large variety of predesigned characters and add the dialogue. Here´s the video The story of Marina is in a pdf document on Google classroom but it´s very simple Marina wanted to see her Grandma. Her Grandma lived very far away. Marina needed money; she didn´t have it. She made the money. She visited her grandma, who was very happy and they did something very special.

Hi everyone! This week we go back to the Spellzone page to check out the third colum, words ending in OW. The spelling words for this week are SNOW BOW SOW THROW GLOW GROW OWN BOWL The adavanced one is harder than last week as it includes three different ways to spell the long O sound.
